Racial Identity Coloring Pages for Multiracial Families

Racial Identity Coloring for Multiracial Families
Our daughter once asked why her marker box had a crayon labeled "skin" that looked nothing like hers, her dad's, or her mom's. Fair question. That box has been failing kids for decades, and multiracial families feel the gap the most, because there's no single crayon that covers a family with three or four skin tones sitting at the same dinner table.
Coloring pages seem like a small thing to fix that. They're not a cure for anything. But handed the right way, they're one of the easiest tools a parent or teacher has for making a mixed race kid feel like they're actually in the picture, literally.
